Wine is the colour of the season: Celina Jaitley
Mumbai, March 5 – Model-turned-actress Celina Jaitley announced wine as the colour of the season at the Lakme Fashion Week here Friday.
‘It is a privilege to launch the colour of the season as Lakme has always predicted the coming trend rightly. This time, Lakme has predicted a colourful trend with the colour wine,’ Celina told IANS after the launch of the colour during the Lakme Fashion Week here.
Asked if she uses the colour personally, she said: ‘Yes, yes, I have used the colour and I am really looking forward to use it in the coming season because for a long time the trend of very nude looks was on and little bit ofcolour was required. I am so glad that it is wine because it suits the Indian skin tone best.’
Celina was fed up of natural nude colours.
‘I was fed up of putting natural nude tones, so I was waiting for something like this,’ said the actress.
She believes any trend reaches the people faster if it is triggered by an actor.
‘If a trend is started by any actor, it reaches the masses faster because people idolize actors,’ said Celina.
